Phil Regan, a 1988 graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Architecture, joined Hutker Architects in 1988 and serves as Principal and the Senior Project Designer for Hutker Architects’ Vineyard office. A Vineyard native with a deep understanding of the nature of the coastal landscape, Phil brings over 20 years of professional design and development experience with residential and public projects on the island. Phil has combined his skills with an unfettered understanding of the region, delivering throughout the island defining projects that complement and withstand the beauty and nature of the landscape, while also challenging it with a fresh definition of a traditional esthetic.
Phil heads up the Vineyard office of Hutker Architects, mentoring over 15 talented architects and designers. Phil is a founding member of both the Cottage City Historic District Commission and Vineyard Baseball, Inc. and currently sits as a Historic District Commissioner and as a consultant for Vineyard Baseball, Inc. Phil also serves on the Board of Directors of the Martha’s Vineyard Little League and as a youth sports coach for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys and Girls Club. In 2011, Phil was elected to the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundations’ Board of Directors for a three- year term. He and his family reside in Oak Bluffs.
