According to the Awards Committee, “In this, the third year of the Bulfinch Awards, we received more entries than in either of the last two years, and out of the pool, the jury selected only seven winners and four recipients of a ‘merit award’.”

The King Shade Residence was commended by the jurors for its “subtle asymmetry” and its “restrained and elegant interiors.” An award ceremony will be held at the Massachusetts State House the evening of November 7th. During that week, all the entries will be displayed at Doric Hall.
